It has been a true honor to be a part of the fantastic Evergreen community for these past 14 years. Great things happen here every day. The partnerships and relationships we've built between our staff, students, parents, and our community make Evergreen a truly special place. This year marks my 30th year in public education and my 15th here at Evergreen. I spent my first 9 years as a teacher and Assistant Principal with Richmond Public Schools. I came to Chesterfield in 2005 as the Associate Principal at Hening Elementary , where I served as principal until July of 2011. Both of my children were students at Evergreen and have fond memories of their time here.
I’m also a proud product of the CCPS system, graduating from Meadowbrook High School back in 1986. I live in the Evergreen school district; both of my children attended Evergreen. Both of my children now attend Midlothian High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Masters in Teaching, and a postgraduate administration certification, all from VCU. Go Rams!
My goals for the students of Evergreen center on preparing them for their future. During these crucial formative years of their education, it is important that we teach them to think and problem solve well beyond the standardized tests. We will push every student to reach his/her potential on a daily basis, while also making school a fun and happy experience for them!
I will continue working closely with the families of Evergreen and work to build strong relationships within our community. Together we will do great things!
